EU Data Protection Authorities demand Privacy Shield clarifications

European Data Protection Authorities demanded clarifications on key elements of the proposed EU-US Privacy Shield program. The DPAs voiced numerous serious concerns over various provisions, asserting that they were either too general or informal.

President announces Commission on national cybersecurity

The President announced the members of his Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. This commission is a central element of the Cybersecurity National Action Plan announced in February.
