The Email Sender and Provider Coalition (“ESPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization comprised of companies and individuals that are leaders in the commercial messaging industry. Our mission is to educate our membership on current and emerging business and legal developments affecting them and to lead the industry by continuing to develop and refine best practices that foster innovation, industry growth, and consumer trust.
This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes our practices in connection with information we collect through the ESPC website located at: https://www.espcoalition.org/ (the “Website”). By using our Website, you agree to our Personal Information collection, use, and disclosure practices as described herein. Although the Website contains links to other websites, please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information or other practices of those websites, or any other websites. Your Personal Information may be disclosed to third-party service providers such as website hosting and management, data analysis, membership services, payment processing, order fulfillment, information technology and related infrastructure provision, event registration, customer service, email delivery, security, auditing, and other similar services.
We may also disclose your Personal Information to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect Personal Information within our organization. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions (such as dues payments or event fees) that you began prior to requesting such change or deletion.
CALIFORNIA “SHINE THE LIGHT”
California residents have the right to annually request and obtain information free of charge about any third parties that received Personal Information from us during the preceding calendar year for direct marketing purposes by directing a request to the contact information provided below. NEVADA DISCLOSURE
Residents of Nevada have the right to opt out of the sale of certain Personal Information to third parties. We currently do not sell your Personal Information as defined by Nevada law.
OPTING OUT OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
If you have requested communications from us (e.g., newsletters and communications regarding our events) but do not wish to receive further information, you can "opt-out" by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link provided in the relevant communication or by replying to the email requesting to “opt out.”
USE OF WEBSITE BY MINORS
The Website is not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13), and we request that these individuals do not provide Personal Information through the Website. If, however, we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete such information.
PUBLIC POSTING AREAS
Please note that any Personal Information you post to any public posting area on our Website is available to anyone with Internet access worldwide.
